Yes they are.
They are cuties in the size and in the looks department.
Even if they aren't packaged as luxuriously as their full-sized counterparts, they still look adorable.
I've been on the hunt lately for these pieces and I have a few good reasons to do so.

1. They are mini-mes of the real thing. Admit it, it's not easy for most of us to drop two thousand grands in one go just for a coveted highlighter. Lo and behold! Here's a mini - it basically contains the same ingredients, down to the very last speck, but at a much, much more affordable price.
2. It quenches your thirst for the full-sized product. Like, there's a makeup item that you want sooo bad but you're not even sure if its really worth the hype. Get me a mini, just to see if it's really worth it or yep, you'll stop craving for that product 'coz your thirst has been quenched.
3. They are perfect for travelling because they won't take up so much space in your makeup kit.
4.  You can actually consume them. I mean, how many products have you thrown away because they're expired or you've grown tired of them. Come to think of it, I've been using this 2.4g mini of the Becca Highlighter since the start of the year and I haven't even hit the pan yet. My point is, imagine if it's a full-sized one, I would be having a harder time to use it all up. So these minis fit my needs because I'm not really that YouTuber nor that beauty guru. I just enjoy the whole process of painting my face. And I intend to use them all up because: refer to item Number 1. They are supposed to be pricey, down to the very last speck. Ha ha!
5. They just look good.

Makeup minis are basically life savers.
Come, it's time to meet them. I got them all for a good bargain.

Ciate London Bamboo Bronzer in Palm Island
Price of Full Size: $28.00 (from us.ciatelondon.com) or about Php 1,500.00
Just perfect for me because I don't really use a lot of contour. It will probably take forever for me to consume this one. Here's where I assure my husband that I didn't sell an arm and leg just to get a mud-colored powder. I got this for like Php 160.00.

Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter in Moonstone
Price : $38.00 (from beccacosmetics.com) or about Php 2,000.00
For achieving the fairy-like glimmer. Ha ha. I already reviewed this product and here's the link: Review: Becca Shimmering Skin Pressed Perfector in Moonstone.

Too Faced Love Flush Blush in So Happy Together
Price: $26.00 (from toofaced.com) or about Php 1389.00
This one's like a Barbie Doll pink and looks over the top on the pan (photo below) but looks surprisingly tame when applied. Well of course you can build it up if you like. No I did not have to pay Php 1,300.00 to get this, I think this came at Php 300.00. I've been using this for like 3 times a week since May but I believe there's still so much more product left in the pan.
I absolutely adore the heart cover and my daughter has already asked me if she can have the empty palette when I run out. Looks like I will run out in 2 years.

Shiseido Rouge Rouge Lipstick in Ruby Copper
Price: $28.00 (from shiseido.com) or about Php 1,495.00
What do you get when you pay for a lipstick that's almost Php 1500.00 pesos? That's a question that has been running in my mind for a very long time. I got my answer, but I payed less than Php 200.00 for the lippie. He he. It turns out the formula on this one seems to hug the lips in a comfortable way. Does that even make sense? And it's a classy shade of red. I will post a detailed review about this one very soon.

I know it's rude to stare but I do that 90% of the time when I'm around makeups. I love the engraves on these two. The TF signs almost gone though.

Those glitters are just hypnotizing.

XO,
Carissa
PS. I've only just begun. I'm buying more minis.
I got them all from Instagram sellers, save for the Becca which I got from Sephora. I know some samples are not meant to be resold but hey am actually glad they sell their extras.
I just saw a stolen photo of me on Facebook. Stolen because I was not the subject of the photo; I was more like a photo bomber in this case. But I was giggly when I saw that my highlighter was blinding even from a distance and it caught the light even on a dim, disco lit night. Like what?! My face was on a side view and my cheekbone looked lovely. It's addicting to stare at.
Can you guess what product I used?
?
?
?
Okay, no need to guess. 😃
I'm telling you I used the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter in Moonstone and I'll talk about it after the jump!
BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter
Shade: Moonstone
Price: Php 1, 150 for Mini (2.4g)
Where To Buy: Online at Sephora Philippines (www.sephora.ph)

What Is It?
A best-selling creamy highlighter powder to light up the features you love with a high-shine finish. - from www.beccacosmetics.com

Up Close
Sometimes I need to remind myself that I buy makeup to use it and not just to stare at it. LOL. But seriously, fresh, right off the box products are hypnotic. Every single glitter is in place.

Ingredients

Packaging, Details and Other Labels
With pricey makeup products you can understand that you are not just paying for the product itself but also the packaging. In this case, the highlighter comes in a compact with a cover that reminds me of a shield and the material doesn't feel flimsy. It has a tiny mirror inside which comes handy for on-the-go touch ups.

Swatch
Will you look at that.... the shimmers are so fine. Texture is buttery soft. Becca describes this shade as "Pale Candlelit Gold" and it's really lovely.

In Action
Catching the light. Am I naturally radiant now?

My Take
I don't know who made highlighters famous but I was never quick to catch up on that trend. My makeup routine was quiet simple and I never felt the need for a highlighter. I bought a highlighter once just to try it out but the shimmers were quiet chunky so I decided to put my highlighting game on hold.
And then I saw this Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter on SALE at Sephora during the holidays and I was drawn to it because of the raves. I wasn't quick to decide by hey, December is my birth month so I figured, "the heck, why not?".
So here we are.
They say once you get a taste of the good thing, it's addicting and it's quiet true. I've been using this highlighter almost every single day and I've made a considerable dent on its once immaculate surface.
I love the creamy, buttery soft texture and the way it applies smoothly on the skin. Like I said earlier, the shimmers are so fine that it looks natural especially when it finally melts into the skin. Shimmering but never glittery. It applies and blends seamlessly and doesn't cake. I love applying it with a small blending brush but I also use my pinky a lot especially when I'm on the go. A little goes a long way too. Wear time is about 4 to 5 hours on my oily skin. There were other shade options and even if I blindly choose this shade, I'm glad that it fits my light-medium, Filipina skin tone. The box says that it can be used up to 24 months after opening but at the rate that I'm using it, I wonder if there would be anything left after two years. 😉

User Friendliness: 4/5

Overall: 4/5

To be honest, even if I love makeups, I am quiet frugal and if this product wasn't on sale, I never would have considered buying it. The original price for a mini is Php 1, 150.00 and that is a lot. Is it worth the price? Well, for some makeup lovers out there, you don't just pay for the product but also for the packaging and the prestige that comes with owning a Becca. If you are not ready to shell out more than a thousand pesos for a 3 gram product, I'm sure there are some good drugstore alternatives out there so fret not.
For me, I scored this product for Php 560.00, I'll be using this one for the next two years hopefully so I really got the good end of the deal. 😏

When I ran out of my Human Heart Nature Gentle Cleansing Oil I knew I had to find a good replacement.
Well, I used to forgo the pre-cleansing step but now that I have reaped the benefits of doing it, I have become more religious. I emptied my 95 ml bottle of HHN Gentle Cleansing Oil after about 7 months. Amazing right? That's a good value for money. I would've wanted to get another bottle of it but then I decided that maybe this is also the perfect time to try out a different kind of cleanser: the Micellar Water.
I've heard a lot of good things about Micellar Water from different beauty bloggers. So how does Micellar Water work? Well, according to  the Huffington Post, Micellar Water is made up of micelles (tiny balls of cleansing oil molecules) suspended in soft water. Micelles are attracted to dirt and oil, so they are able to draw out impurities without drying out the skin.
Micellar Waters come in different price points and added benefits. I heard from Ms. Liz Lanuzo of Project Vanity that Garnier's Micellar Cleansing Water is good so I decided to try it out. I picked the blue one because I have oily and acne-prone skin. There's also a pink variety which is for sensitive skin.
Garnier Skin Naturals Micellar Cleansing Water
Blue Packaging for Oily, Acne-Prone Skin
Price: Php 149.00 for 125 mL
Where to Buy: Watsons
What is it?
Garnier touts this as an All-in-One Micellar Cleansing Water that purifies and removes make-up  in one gesture. This one is specially made for oily, acne-prone skin and promises to remove makeup, cleanse and mattify the skin.

Ingredients

Performance
I love the ritual of removing makeup as much as I love putting it on and Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water has been a good companion in doing such an activity. Here's my proof: a photo of the cotton pads that I used for cleansing with the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water. It takes about 3 to 4 cotton pads to clean up my face. I love how mild this micellar water is - no stingy feeling, almost like water but it feels a bit slippery (must be the micelles) so that when it comes in contact with your skin, the makeup just seems to melt off.

This is just a personal preference: even if it says that there is no rinsing required, I prefer to not rely on this Micellar Water alone for cleansing since it doesn't leave a squeaky clean feel. Kinda like there's still something left on my skin so I splash on some water and some foamy cleanser. But on days when I really feel lazy and tired, this works just fine. I have observed though that I had some difficulty removing my mascara with this Micellar Water.

My Take
If you wear makeup on a daily basis, just like me, it would be best if you pick the bigger sized bottle because you win on the price per mL. Unlike cleansing oils which take only small amounts for cleaning the face, with Micellar Water you have to use at least 4 to 5 cotton pads so a 125 mL bottle won't last very long. However, Micellar Waters have short expiry dates after opening. In this case it's only good for 6 months so yep, you better use it while it's good!

Unlike most cleansing oils, there's definitely no greasy feel while using this Garnier Micellar Water. However, I experienced difficulty in removing my mascara with it. For reference, I am using my favorite Maybelline Hypercurl Volum' Express Mascara.

My skin feels fresh and matte but not dry after using it however I am Miss Oiliness so after a while I oil up again. I didn't experience breakouts while using this so for me it means that it did well in removing the makeup (save for the mascara) and other debris from my skin.

Final Rating: 3.8/5

This is the first time that I have tried  Micellar Water so I really have no idea about how it compares to other drugstore Micellar Waters such as L'Oreal's or Maybelline's. I hope I would be able to try them out soon so I can make a comparison.

XO,

Hey Sample Room, it's been a while. :)
If I'm not mistaken, this is only my first haul from them for the year 2018.
I think I stopped ordering sample products when my debit card stopped working for online payments
but now that it's been upgraded to the one with EMV chip and it's working fine, I'm back in business.
These products caught my eye and thankfully, I had enough points in my account to cover them all. I always prefer ordering stuff that will be useful to my daily life so I got a perfume to keep me smelling fresh, a conditioner for my DDD (dry, dead, damaged) locks, and a controversial piece that will be very useful when that time of the month comes. ;)

Here's a rundown of all the products in my latest Sample Room haul.

Soleil et Lune (Brigitte)
Bursts of fruity essence for the woman who uplifts like the sunshine wherever she goes. The opening is fresh with crisp, dewy green notes, blackcurrants and petit grain. This is followed by a lusciously ripe heart of succulent nectarines and acacia honey, all resting on a warm base of vetiver, peach and plums.
FULL SIZE: 10mL / 30mL / 50mL
PRICE: PHP 380 / PHP 780 / PHP 1180
Soleil et Lune (Brigitte) Review and Rating
I may have mentioned in this blog that I am easily nauseated with perfumes. Thankfully, I didn't experience any headaches when I first got a whiff of Brigitte by Soleil et Lune. This scent reminds me of Jo Malone Nectarine Blossom and Honey albeit Brigitte is  tad heavier and sweeter than the former. It makes sense though because as the description says, the heart of this scent is "succulent nectarines and acacia honey".  I am a fan of fruity scents so this fits the bill.
If there's anything I can complain about this product I'd say it's the longevity. It never seems to go beyond the 2 hour mark on me.  Rating: 3/5

Cream Silk Fresh Hydration Conditioner
"Transform your summer-dry hair this hot season with the newest Cream Silk Fresh Hydration Conditioner. With Advanced Hair Reborn Technology and Hydra-Collagen Complex, it makes rough, frizzy, and summer-dry hair feel fresh and hydrated for up to 24 hours of long-lasting freshness without the greasy feel."
FULL SIZES: 11ml/ 170ml/ 340ml
PRICES: PHP 6.50/ PHP 109.00/ PHP 197.50
Cream Silk Fresh Hydration Conditioner Review and Rating
I think it goes without saying that Cream Silk is still the leader in the Conditioner market in this country. It remains a favorite because it is affordable and is of good quality and of course this Fresh Hydration is no exception. The formula is less thicker than their regular conditioners but it works just fine in keeping the frizz in check without the greasy feel. However,  I think I still need more in the hydration department. And the 24 hour fresh feel claim is too tall for me. Rating: 3.5/5

Ladouce Tampons (Mini)
"Each Ladouce Tampon is designed to provide the highest soft and safe absorbency for all users. Mini tampons are best for beginner and/or women who have light menstrual flow. Normal tampons are best for moderate menstrual flow, while super tampons are best for heavy menstrual flow."
FULL SIZE: 1 box (16 tampons)
PRICE: PHP 199
I have yet to review this product mainly because as I write this blog post, I am still waiting for my period. 😃 I have zero experience when it comes to using tampons so I don't know what to expect. I was just surprised though, when I opened the box. I expected the tampons to be bigger but it's just about the size of M16 bullets. LOL. Now I'm wondering if how much blood can it actually hold. I will be making a separate post about my experience in using tampons.

That's it for now.
And it's always a pleasure doing business with Sample Room.

It seems like only yesterday when I was writing a blog post about Celestine's Moving Up Ceremony in April and now, here we are: saying hi to June... and July, 'coz this blog post is overdue. :)
In other parts of the world, and even in some schools in the Philippines, June means being close to the end of the school days. But for us, it's only the beginning of the term.

So it's goodbye to sleep ins and hello early mornings.
Goodbye to late night movie marathons and hello homeworks.
Basically, it's goodbye to the chill life and hello stress.

Celestine is now a grade schooler so she's in school all day. I enjoy seeing her respond to new lessons. I am happy that she has love for learning. I will never get tired of her stories. There's that boy classmate who never talks to her no matter how any times she strikes up a conversation. And when she received as much as a nod from this classmate, it was newsworthy. There's that time that she managed to tie back her shoelaces after she took them off when she went to the bathroom to pee. Or that time when they played the mannequin game. Really, her stories are my stress busters at the end of the day.
I've also done a bit of parenting stuff at school. Yep, general cleaning. That, plus waking up an hour earlier than what I'm used to. Plus cooking breakfast and making her eat quickly. Why do kids move like sloths in the morning? Plus convincing her to take a bath even if the water is cold. And dressing her up while she thinks of a few more delaying tactics. That's just some of the adjustments I've made. And it's just for one kid. If I had three, I think I would go crazy!

A month into this new routine and I am happy to report that I am doing well. I've adapted, as moms are wont to do. And I am glad that despite all of the stuff that I have to do in the morning, I am never late for work. Actually, I arrive at least fifteen minutes earlier than 8:00 AM. I'm doing well, thank you! ;)

Real life isn't perfect. Nothing ever sails smoothly forever.
But here I am, putting up a good fight. All because I have a good girl with me and I have made a promise since Day One that I will always, ALWAYS have her back.
It's a delicate balance that moms have to make: we want to always be there for them but we also want to teach them to be independent.
There will be wrong answers during quizzes but hey, that's more reason to work twice as hard.

Now, where's that Momoland stuff and let's start dancing to Boom Boom. :)
Kids these days.

XO,
Mummy Cassie

Yep! Time really flies.
But, I will always look back fondly to this memory for years and years and years to come because,
"It's Britney, bitch!" 😜
And I was with two of my bestest friends while watching our Queen slaying at the Mall of Asia Arena on June 15, 2017.
Crayzy!

I have previously blogged about this trip - a lot - and  these are the links. I'll just put 'em here together so it's easier for me to find them too.

For all the stuff we did while waiting for the 8:00 PM show, here's the link. Yes, from the time we boarded the plane until we boarded again.

Travel Diaries: The Day The Posh Siblings Came To Manila To See Britney

It's still part of 'what we did while waiting for the 8:00 PM show' but deserved a separate post.

In Photos: Up Up In The Sky With The MOA Eye!

And show time!

June is Over And I'm Still Gushing Over The Britney Live In Manila Concert

Here is a video that I have just uploaded recently. Now, as Britney fans would know, she's not much of a talker when she performs. Not like Taylor, for example who gives speeches, respectively. I was even wondering if she would talk at all. But she did and I will never ever forget her shrill and high pitched voice. It's on the video. It's really funny too, how you'd expect that something was about to happen when she asked which side of the crowd was louder.
And then she just walks away with "I think this side wins, sorry". Ha ha
I love you Brit. 💚💛💜💙💓

What else?
I also have a video of her performance of Make Me but YouTube won't let me upload it due to copyright issues. I can't share. 😞

But the most amazing part, save for the show itself, was the sea of Britney fans jamming to her hits as they made their way out of the Arena.

All together now....
Hit me baby one more time!

Ha ha
It never gets old,

Here's a review of It's Skin Power 10 Formula Q10 Effector.
It's Skin Power 10 Formula Q10 Effector
Price: Php 390.00, dicounted from Php 720.00
Where to Buy:  ph.althea.kr

What Is It?
It is a lightweight, quick absorbing essence. This Q10 Effector is enriched with Coenzyme-Q10 that's found naturally in the skin to restore vitality and resilience to the skin. This lightweight, fast-absorbing concentrate applies on without leaving behind any sticky residue while instantly hydrating the skin. With anti-aging properties, this product promotes regeneration of skin cells so that you have a supple, radiant complexion.

Ingredients
According to the page at Althea, the following are the active ingredients of this product together with their functions.
Ceramide - Strengthens the skin's barrier and keeps it protected
Cellulose - Has strong humectant properties that improves the skin's moisture content
Pseudoalteromonas ferment extract - Anti-aging agent that increases collagen and elastin production

Packaging, Details and Other Labels
It comes in a glass bottle with a dropper to dispense the product. I like the packaging actually, it doesn't look or feel cheap, even if the product comes at a really affordable price.

In Action
The watery gel formula is easily absorbed by the skin and doesn't leave behind a sticky feeling.

My Take
The manufacturer of this product It's Skin is touted as "a Korean skincare brand that provides clinical-grade solutions for common everyday skin problems". If you visit the It's Skin page at Althea, you will see that there are about a dozen different serums and essences, they're known as the Power 10 line, and they really target different skin concerns. So there's one for whitening, for anti aging and so on. That being said, now that I am reviewing this product, I am really wondering why I picked up the Q10 Effector one, since I am alien to the concept of this Q10. 😊 I could have went for the pore minimizing one. I bought this last year so my memory is already kind of hazy. But here we are. I Googled the benefits of incorporating Coenzyme Q10 into my skincare routine and into my life so I realized I may have made a good decision after all.

The funny thing is, I didn't immediately fall head over heels about this product. Sure I loved how the lightweight, fast-absorbing concentrate applies on without leaving behind any sticky residue but at first I didn't notice any significant difference on my skin. It took me about consuming half the contents of the bottle before feeling and seeing the effects. You know how it feels, when you wake up in the morning and you love what you're seeing - a glowing, radiant complexion which feels soft and supple to touch. Can't keep my hands off my face. I also noticed that my skin is less prone to pimples. I would love to try the other variants in the Power 10 line but this one is something that I won't hesitate to buy again in the future.

I also observed that in order to maximize the effects of this product you have to be vigilant about other skincare steps such as cleansing and exfoliating to promote better absorption. I exfoliate about 2 to 3 times a week and together with this essence, my skin feels baby soft.

Here's a review of Ever Bilena's Matte Liquid Lipstick in Sexy Nude .
Ever Bilena Matte Liquid Lipstick
Shade: Sexy Nude
Price: Php 185.00
Where I Got It: Watsons, Gaisano Grand Catarman, Catarman, Northern Samar
Where to Buy: drugstores and department store nationwide, Ever Bilena is basically everywhere these days!

What is it?
Matte liquid lipsticks are trendy these days and here's Ever Bilena's take on it.

Ingredients

Packaging, Labels and Other Details
It comes in a no frills plastic tube packaging. The shade name is labelled at the top of the tube cap. Other details like manufacturing date, etc are written at the bottom of the tube.

Here's the doe foot applicator. I love the size of it. Just perfect for outlining the lips. I also love how the product doesn't gather up at the base of the cap.
Swatch
Here's the swatch. Sexy Nude is a peachy-pink shade of nude.

In Action
Here's a photo of my bare, freshly scrubbed lip vs. wearing two layers of the Ever Bilena Matte Liquid Lipstick in Sexy Nude.

My Take
I  picked this color because I'd just ran out of my NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Stockholm and since Sexy Nude looked so close in terms of color on the tube, I decided to try it out. When swatched side by side, the two look like twins but as the products dry up, NYX SMLC Stockholm stays true to its peachy-pink shade while EB Matte Liquid Lipstick oxidizes to a more pink shade, albeit it's not very obvious on my photo above.

Now on to my comments about the EB Matte Liquid Lipstick. It has a scent that I could associate with vanilla and coconuts or that Butter Coconut biscuit cracker. The scent lingers on for while and stays on faintly even after the product has dried up.

It comes in a creamy liquid formula; not too runny at all. It doesn't dry up easily so you have ample time to apply it. I have observed though that the best way for me to apply it is to not try to have many passes with the applicator. Just outline the lips, fill-up the blanks, press lips together and leave it alone. It will look just fine and even compared to when I try to keep layering the product. It will look glossy for a while but after more than a minute, it will dry down to a powdery matte looking finish.

There's a unsettling feeling left behind though even after it has set, when you press your lips together, they kind of stick. It doesn't affect the color of the product though and I tried kissing the back of my hand, even if it sticks, the color doesn't transfer.

It doesn't come off easily, so if you won't drink or eat, I will look great for about three hours. It won't go away easily naman if you drink water for like 1 or 2 times but if you keep drinking or eating oily food it will eventually fade.

For the price point, I think this product is a good one, especially if you are just exploring the world of liquid lipsticks. It has a good color pay-off and didn't look or feel flaky on my lips.

Clay masks are all the rage these days and of course I wouldn't want to be left behind in trying out this trend. However, it's not jut the trendiness that attracts me but also the benefits that come with using facial masks.
This one from Beauty Bakery for instance contains charcoal, crushed apricot seeds and olive seeds. It promises to pull away deep seated dirt and sebum from the skin. It also promises to tighten pores. I have  oily, pimple-prone skin with large pores and this product certainly fits the bill.
So, did it work for me?
Review is after the jump.

Beauty Bakery Charcoal & Clay Scrub Mask
Price: 199.00
Where to Buy: www.beautymnl.com

What is it?
Functions as an exfoliating scrub and purifying mask; thoroughly cleanses by drawing out toxins, excess sebum, and deep-seated dirt; removes pore-clogging bacteria to tighten and refine skin; formulated with charcoal, crushed apricot seeds, and olive seeds; smoothens and mattifies skin for a fresh, glowing look. -www.beautymnl.com

Packaging, Ingredients & Other Details
It comes in a small black tub which contains 100 grams of product. Packaging is pretty simple and all the labels are written at the top of the cap. The 'how to use' is written but the ingredients of the product is not indicated in the labels.

There's a tag at the bottom of the tub which contains the expiry month and year. The product came shrink-wrapped so that's a guarantee that the product is fresh and unused.

In Action
The clay mask takes on the charcoal-grey color. When the product is spread, you can see that it has these tiny grainy stuff which help in exfoliating the skin.
Here's a photo of me while wearing the mask and after washing it off.

My Take
I'll have to be very honest: the first thing that caught my attention about this product was the fact that it has a Php 199.00 price tag. After that, I started reading the reviews at BeautyMNL and was thoroughly convinced that it's worth trying out.

I'll cut the chase here: I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PRODUCT!

It smells great - like fruits but I can't tell if what kind of fruit - and doesn't feel uncomfortable when worn. If anything, it has a slight cooling effect on the face. As the instruction says, I rub it in circular motion but instead of washing it off immediately, I love to leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes.

After washing it off, I can immediately tell the difference. My facial skin feels soft and baby smooth to touch. My pores become visibly tighter. I could just be imagining that but I got compliments too from my officemate who noticed that my pores were looking tame and I'm not too oily. :) I've only used it three times as I write this blog and I promise to be more masipag in applying this mask.

A little goes a long way too with this product so I guess this 100g tub while last for a while.

If I may make a suggestion for room for improvement, I'd like a more specific label, like for the ingredients to be indicated in the packaging because I really love being informed of what I'm putting in my skin. Of course I was able to catch the ingredients at BeautyMNL but some of us may not be able to have the same access to that site. That's it. Just a little small, tiny, little baby hiccup (or something like that, as said by Liam Neeson in Love Actually).

For the price, this products can't be beat. Beauty Bakery is also a proudly Filipino company, so I just feel happy that we keep churning out great quality products in the local scene.

We also had a plate of Country Fries (Price: Php 148.00) but I wasn't able to take a photo of it because I was already too busy devouring with my Halo Halo. Moreover, if there's fries on the table, it's almost immediately gone. Anyway, the fries weren't like thin sliced McDo or Jollibee fries but more like potato wedges with some spices and a tasty mayo dip.

This Godzilla is a bit pricey at Php 418.00 but it's a huge serving which can be shared by three to 4 people so it's ideal for family or for barkadas. I mean, that's a lot of ice cream.

Club sandwich, y'all. It also has some fries.

Mama had this Caramel Flan and I was able to sample it too. I loved the mixture of fruits plus the caramel flan flavored ice cream. I particularly enjoyed those round, white stuff which is macapuno.

And here's my halo halo, the Halo Dozen, which I had a bit of a hard time trying to consume. Not because it wasn't good but because the serving was BIG! For Php 118.00 I think it's very sulit. Mama came to the rescue when I could no longer go on. That's what moms are for. :)

Here are a few candid shots while we were waiting and eating. Thankfully the topic didn't revolve around 'who among mama's kids is adopted'. See now, I am struggling with my Halo Dozen. Celestine is still reeling over the fact that the strawberries taste sour. It was the first time that she tasted strawberries.

I'll just end this by saying that this isn't the last time that I'll be seeing Icerbergs. :)

XOXO,
Carissa
