Yes they are.
They are cuties in the size and in the looks department.
Even if they aren't packaged as luxuriously as their full-sized counterparts, they still look adorable.
I've been on the hunt lately for these pieces and I have a few good reasons to do so.

1. They are mini-mes of the real thing. Admit it, it's not easy for most of us to drop two thousand grands in one go just for a coveted highlighter. Lo and behold! Here's a mini - it basically contains the same ingredients, down to the very last speck, but at a much, much more affordable price.
2. It quenches your thirst for the full-sized product. Like, there's a makeup item that you want sooo bad but you're not even sure if its really worth the hype. Get me a mini, just to see if it's really worth it or yep, you'll stop craving for that product 'coz your thirst has been quenched.
3. They are perfect for travelling because they won't take up so much space in your makeup kit.
4.  You can actually consume them. I mean, how many products have you thrown away because they're expired or you've grown tired of them. Come to think of it, I've been using this 2.4g mini of the Becca Highlighter since the start of the year and I haven't even hit the pan yet. My point is, imagine if it's a full-sized one, I would be having a harder time to use it all up. So these minis fit my needs because I'm not really that YouTuber nor that beauty guru. I just enjoy the whole process of painting my face. And I intend to use them all up because: refer to item Number 1. They are supposed to be pricey, down to the very last speck. Ha ha!
5. They just look good.

Makeup minis are basically life savers.
Come, it's time to meet them. I got them all for a good bargain.

Ciate London Bamboo Bronzer in Palm Island
Price of Full Size: $28.00 (from us.ciatelondon.com) or about Php 1,500.00
Just perfect for me because I don't really use a lot of contour. It will probably take forever for me to consume this one. Here's where I assure my husband that I didn't sell an arm and leg just to get a mud-colored powder. I got this for like Php 160.00.

Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter in Moonstone
Price : $38.00 (from beccacosmetics.com) or about Php 2,000.00
For achieving the fairy-like glimmer. Ha ha. I already reviewed this product and here's the link: Review: Becca Shimmering Skin Pressed Perfector in Moonstone.

Too Faced Love Flush Blush in So Happy Together
Price: $26.00 (from toofaced.com) or about Php 1389.00
This one's like a Barbie Doll pink and looks over the top on the pan (photo below) but looks surprisingly tame when applied. Well of course you can build it up if you like. No I did not have to pay Php 1,300.00 to get this, I think this came at Php 300.00. I've been using this for like 3 times a week since May but I believe there's still so much more product left in the pan.
I absolutely adore the heart cover and my daughter has already asked me if she can have the empty palette when I run out. Looks like I will run out in 2 years.

Shiseido Rouge Rouge Lipstick in Ruby Copper
Price: $28.00 (from shiseido.com) or about Php 1,495.00
What do you get when you pay for a lipstick that's almost Php 1500.00 pesos? That's a question that has been running in my mind for a very long time. I got my answer, but I payed less than Php 200.00 for the lippie. He he. It turns out the formula on this one seems to hug the lips in a comfortable way. Does that even make sense? And it's a classy shade of red. I will post a detailed review about this one very soon.

I know it's rude to stare but I do that 90% of the time when I'm around makeups. I love the engraves on these two. The TF signs almost gone though.

Those glitters are just hypnotizing.

PS. I've only just begun. I'm buying more minis.
I got them all from Instagram sellers, save for the Becca which I got from Sephora. I know some samples are not meant to be resold but hey am actually glad they sell their extras.
Hey readers! I did this look over the weekend, but this is basically how I do my makeup everyday. I just switch the lip color or the shadow color.

First of all, I am glad that my skin has behaved lately. I have no major breakouts, my skin looks smooth in general and I am just glowing. It really pays to be religious about taking care of your skin. For this photo, I blurred the background but my face was untouched, definitely no edits. I swear! Maybe I had good lighting too! LOL.

Without further ado, here are the deets about the stuff that I used to achieve this look.

You can click on the links to read the review about each product.

I only needed light to medium coverage for this look so I used this bb cream. It effectively evens out my skin tone and I have observed that when I am wearing this bb cream, my skin looks great on photos. :) The SPF content is also a big help because let's face it, who doesn't need 50 PA++++ these days? I used my Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge to apply this for a flawless effect.

3W CLINIC NATURAL MAKE-UP POWDER AKA PALGANTONG POWDER
My powder of choice for setting bb creams. It's really fine and makes skin feel smooth, glowing and velvety to touch. It also has great oil control. This powder is also said to be a favorite among Korean and Japanese celebrities. Feeling celeb naman me while using this. :)

SLEEK MAKEUP I-DIVINE MINERAL EYESHADOW PALETTE IN OH SO SPECIAL
I used the shades Gift Basket (Shimmery Brown), Boxed (Chocolate Brown) and Wrapped Up (Coffee Brown) for this look. Gift Basket is my favorite shimmery shade in this set. It doesn't take much effort when putting this on, I just tap tap tap. I used Wrapped Up to contour my lids. Then I used Boxed to fill up the sparse parts of my brows.

The rose gold shade goes well with my lip color of choice. Pa-fresh and dating.

I chose this color because it would match my light peach dress. It has a hint of pinkish-brown so I didn't end up looking washed out.

I couldn't find my eyelash curler while I was doing this look but the Maybelline Hypercurl Mascara's curved wand has still help me achieve these fluttering lashes.

Hey there!
And that's about it! Nothing big or explosive, ayt? I basically just used what I already had in my makeup kit. In my opinion, these are the most basic must-haves in your makeup kit. If you take care of your skin,  you won't need to pile on other stuff when you have to primp up.

I hope you liked this post. Drop a line or two in my comment section. Maybe share your own favorite products for doing a simple makeup look.
