All Aboard! Welcome To Port Royale Waterpark Resort Tacloban!

I am excited to share some stories and a few snaps about a place that our family visited recently.

This is the Port Royale Waterpark Resort in Tacloban City!

All aboard! Welcome to Port Royale!

This resort is located in San Jose, Tacloban City. More than a decade ago, this part of the city was one of the most heavily `battered by Super Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan). This place has risen from the damage and something beautiful has sprung up to entertain tourists and locals alike. We came during one of the busiest times of the year, so the queue at the entrance was understandably heavy. I barely had the chance to take a decent photo, but this was how the foyer looked. There's the giant tree and on the background is the "history" of Port Royale. 

Anyways, after the long queue, we barely had the energy to go swimming. First things first - lunch. We were on Cabana 10 and we had these yummy foods from New Year's Eve.

Afterwards it was time to explore the whole place. The kids went for a swim immediately but I decided to walk around to get a feel of the place. Of course you've already seen the Pirate Ship-themed part earlier but the gigantic pool and the slides are also worth all the love.

There's certainly room for everyone in this BIG BIG pool.

I also love how the pools weren't too deep. Like, me as a non-swimmer didn't feel intimidated by the pool situation. The babies were certainly in for a treat.

At the end of the day, when we were all feeling a little cold from too much swimming, we all gravitated towards this hot tub.

I've also got these Reels that I uploaded on Facebook. Truly we had so much fun; the kids enjoyed themselves and the adults felt like kids even just for a day!
