If my memory serves me right, Zalora Philippines is probably one of the very first online shops that I have ever shopped on. Moreover, I have every reason to keep coming back. Making payments is hassle-free because they accept debit cards. Shipping is on them when your total purchase is more than Php 995.00. Lastly, they put discounts on certain items every once in a while so you just have to keep your eyes peeled! This time around, my Php 1, 016.00 certainly went a long way during my latest Zalora shopping spree! You read that right.  I was able to purchase four b-new items for a little over a thousand bucks. Good deal, ayt? :) Read on for more deets.

ZALORA Black Strappy High Heels
Price: Originally Php 1, 499.00 but I got it for Php 349.00
Infused with an undeniable air of city chic, these sleek heels from ZALORA are definitely ones to take note of. Slip these on to add a touch of elegance to your ensemble.
- Synthetic suede upper
- Synthetic insole
- Synthetic outsole
- Pin buckle fastening
- Heel height: 10cm/3.93"

I've always wanted to have something like this in my capsule wardrobe. I know that it will never go out of style. This is something that I won't wear often - just for special occasions. I can't wait to mix and match these with dresses, pants and jeans. It could  use a little embellishment tho but I still love it.

Something Borrowed Pointed Toe Metal Bow Flat in Taupe
Price: I Got It for Php 249.00, supper discounted too but I forgot about the original price.
What do I say? Nude flats are also a must in any girl's shoe collection. They're classic and the bows on this one will instantly upgrade those jeans.

Sunnies Studios Heather Sunglasses in Champagne with Caramel Gradient
Price: Php 399.00 but I got it for Php 119.70
Not the classic big dark shades, eh? But it was just over a hundred pesos so I couldn't resist grabbing it! :) And it's Sunnies; I absolutely adore Georgina Wilson and it's like getting a piece of her.

Something Borrowed Small Flap Backpack in Dark Blue
Price: Php 299.00, I also forgot the original price :)
I finally have a backpack! I've always wanted to have one. Not the ones that will make me look like a mountain climber, just a dainty one that I can use at the mall, etc. Answered prayers!

So there it is. If you've been doing the Maths with me, like I said at the start of this blog post, I spent Php 1, 016.00 for these four items. Of course I was able to avail of the free shipping because it's more than Php 995.00. Tell me, did I get the good end of the deal?
Absolutely. :) Just so you know, even if these items are discounted, they are still in great and unused condition.

Now, as promised, I have here a discount code which you can use for your first order at Zalora.
*Disclaimer*
If you use this code, I will get an incentive from Zalora as a Brand Ambassador.

Happy shopping!

It’s a hot summer yet again. That doesn't need a lot of explaining since I bet we can all feel it. Herewith are my April Favorites – stuff that helped me survive through this withering month (besides water and and the good ol' electric fan). Obviously I went for stuff with sun protecting capacities and those that would stay put even if I sweat buckets.

The Belo Trinity
Belo UPF Umbrella, Belo Perfecting Shield Tinted Sunscreen SPF 50 PA ++++ and Belo SunExpert Body Shield SPF 60 ++++

I got all of these from Sample Room which I wrote about here. They've been very useful for me this month and rarely a day has gone by without me using them.

The Belo Umbrella has UPF 50. UPF  represents the fabric’s ability to reduce UV Transmissions. I was also completely sold by the cute design and the very girly color. Form and function is love, after all. (^_^) I will have the photo of that umbrella at the end of this post.

Belo Perfecting Shield Tinted Sunscreen SPF 50 PA ++++
As if the umbrella’s UPF 50 were not enough, I also used this tinted sunscreen with SPF 50 on my face a lot. It’s perfect for the dewy no make-up look. Very light and tone-adapting too!

Belo SunExpert Body Shield SPF 60 ++++
Whether going to the beach or just to the office,  this baby’s SPF 60 is no small stuff, thank you very much!  I mix this up with regular lotion for added protection.

Milea Eyebrow/Eyeliner Powder in Dark Choco
Me thinks I can go out sans lipstick or blush but never without eyebrows. I wasn't gifted with the loveliest set of brows and eyes and I’m constantly in need of defining when it comes to those areas. This double tasker has helped me so much this month. I use this on my brows and it looks natural and stays put. I use this as an eyeliner and I don’t bother with eyeshadows anymore. Very seldom do I get to consume any product to the very last and for this one, the little jar is almost empty.

The Human Nature Duo
Colored Lip Balm in Pink Orchid and Perfect Glow Mineral Blush in Pink Matte

If I never have to use another lipstick in my life, I could live with the Human Nature Tinted Lip Balm in Pink Orchid forever and still feel content. It’s a winner in the MLBB (My Lips But Better) department. I wish it would never fade away but as lip balms go, I could only wish so much. (@_@)

As for the blush on, up until now I’ve decided to do away with it lest I look like a clown. The Perfect Glow Mineral Blush in Pink Matte has changed my perspective. The color is subtle but buildable. Stays put on my face too! For a review of this, click here.

The Big Dark Frames and the Floral Scarf
I think I've been photographed several times this month with this scarf and for good reason: it gives life even to the plainest white tee (which I love wearing due to very hot weather). And as for the frames, whenever I put them on, I feel like I’m in league with the icons of the 60's and the 70's. Or maybe that’s putting it too much. Ha ha. I got both of these from Zalora.
The Belo Umbrella with the vintage-looking shades from Something Borrowed and the floral scarf.

This summer’s been exceptionally hot but these simple, affordable trinkets made me feel ever so cool.

Carissa
