This place isn't new but the experience is new to me so I am sharing a few snaps in this blog, just to give you feel of the ambiance of the place. A work-related activity brought me and a few of my colleagues to Catarman, the capital town of the Northern Samar province. And when all of it was done, we decided to treat ourselves to a wonderful time of food and catching up. If it were up to me, we would have ended up in McDo, Jolibee, or Mang Inasal. Of course those are great places to eat, but we wanted to try something different for a change. I had no idea about other dining spots in Catarman, let alone how to navigate the narrow streets but my girliepops suggested we try Cafe Eusebio. Thus, at 10:00 AM we were at their doorstep.
Great timing, because cafe opens at that hour and we were the first customers. 😁
The Menu
The menu is written on the this chalkboard and there are lots to choose from. They've got pasta, rice meals, sandwiches, breakfast combos, frappes, burgers, etc. I think I also spotted some pizza choices near the counter. I honestly got overwhelmed by the options and I just ended up ordering some Creamy Chicken Pesto and a tall refreshing glass of lemon grass iced tea. It was too early to get a rice meal, so I opted for some pasta. I say, when in doubt, choose pasta.
Lurking around...
The place has got some homey vibes with the greenery, furnitures and a few personal touches here and there.
Paintings, warm-lighted maps, curated ceramics and antique-looking furnitures decorate the place.
I bet this part here looks more striking at night-time.
Perfect for date nights, barkada meet-ups, or just some me-time.

Here's my Creamy Chicken Pesto. I really love it when the pasta is fettuccine! I feel like I could slurp the sauce when it's fettuccine. The Lemon Grass Iced Tea was just perfect for the hot weather.
Once in a blue moon I post a photo of me. I think little by little I've gotten my confidence back.
This part of the cafe features long dinner table that can seat at least 10 so this is perfect for group meetings or family gatherings.
Needless to say, I had a great time and this is certainly not the last time that I will be visiting Cafe Eusebio.
Xo,
Cassie
