NCDC Family Day At The Beach!!!

This activity was done by my little boy's daycare center, and it was one of the most anticipated by both Cedie and Nala. Well, anything that involves the beach would certainly hype up the kids. If anything, I was also excited because I love seeing them excited. Oh! The shrieks of excitement! It's certainly a great bonding experience. I also thought maybe I could relax by taking in the sun and sea. Maybe.

We brought food and we shared it with the other families who attended. There was some dancing and games for the kids. The theme was Hawaiian so we dressed them both in florals. I just knew that it would be a long day under the sun, mostly spent in seawater, so I came prepared. When it comes to events like these, I feel like I'm Mary Poppins.

My sweet babies. Where did all the time go?

What a doll. ;)
Here's the face you make when you want to go swimming but mommy said, not yet. Daddy coaxing Nala to smile for the camera but all we got was a grin and a pout.

Finally changed their outfits so they would be better protected from the sun. Also took the time to apply some sunscreen. The Kleenfant one did really well! Many hours babad in the sun and no sunburns! Sadly, I lost my tube at one of the beach huts. I would certainly repurchase.
The rule is: Don't bother the brotherer if the botherer is not bothering.
Time for some dancing and games with the classmates.
Cedie boy, shake it like we rehearsed it.

My Little Bini

Taking a break from the heat with some iced pops.
At some point, the waves got really bigger so I whipped out the life vest floaties. What fun they had! This is the first time that I let them use life vests at the beach and, I realized that I should have done this a long time ago.

Sorry, I'm not about to let the day pass without getting a fantastic photo op. ;) All I can say is that I am grateful that I am able to have moments like these with my babies.

 Xo,

Mommie Cassie
