I have recently emptied a tub of this powder. It's my second one so I guess it's about time for me to share my thoughts about this product. Details are after the jump.

Name: 3W Professional Natural Make-Up Powder (formerly DODO Palgantong Powder)
Shade: #23 Natural Beige
Price: Php 250.00
Where I Got It: shopee.ph
What Is It?
The 3W Clinic Professional Natural Make-Up Powder (formerly known as DODO Palgantong Powder) is a loose setting powder. It is said to be one of the most popular setting powders in South Korea and Japan and is also favored among celebrities there. It is well-loved because it is said to deliver the following effects:
- Slimming Effect: Makes your face look slimmer with a 3-dimensional effect caused by ligher reflection
- Long Lasting: Strong against water or sweat
- Does not come off easily
- Lasts long and effectively absorbs oil
- Blooming Effect: The light-scattering powder results to a bright and dewy finish
- Silky and Hydrated Skin
- It maintains the skin’s natural moisture and prevents loss of moisture
*I got these details from Lazada.
If those claims are written on the packaging, we can't know for sure. But if there's anybody here who can read Hangul... :)
Packaging
The bulky tub is made of plastic: not the kind that will easily break when dropped.

It has an uber soft powder puff: I have two of these now and I'm not tossing them anytime soon.

This sticker was on the plastic sifter, covering the holes.

Up Close
That's the sifter. And check out how finely milled this powder is.

I wish that there's any way to make you feel how fine and soft the texture of the powder is just by looking at this picture. But it is. I know that the powder looks beige-y in this photo, and even in real IRL but when swatched it's hardly beige. You'll see on the next photos.

In Action
On the first photo I only have a foundation on. I used the L'Oreal Paris Infallible Stay Fresh Foundation in shade 104, and also I have the Maybelline Baby Skin Pore Eraser underneath it. No illusions, I know that my skin isn't smooth even with primer and foundation on. :) On the second photo, I baked with the Palgantong Powder. I think you can see that it has made a considerably great impact, specially when it has fully set. The FOTD photo has not been retouched, just blurred out the background.

My Take
I'll take point by point, since we have the product claims at the start of this post.
Slimming effect? I've been using this for a long time but I have never given much thought if it really gives a slimming effect on my face. Contouring is still the way for me and anyway, I can't focus on the slimming when I can see that it has a blooming effect on me. And it's not just blooming, it also brightening and smoothing effect.
It also leaves a silky smooth feel on the skin.
For the "long lasting claim", it still pretty much looks intact after 5 hours, after which a touch-up would be necessary. Oil starts to seep after about 3 - 4 hours. Given that my work place isn't air-conditioned and it's sweltering hot in here, that's pretty decent.

A few of the negative stuff that I can say about this is the bulkiness of the packaging. It's really big and it won't easily fit into some kikay kits. You can always solve that problem by transferring it into a smaller container, anyway it's not hard to remove that sifter. Based on my experience, it's also not ideal to pile this up on your face because it can get cakey. Light is still the good way to go.

To wrap things up, I've mentioned that I've emptied two tubs of this and I will be making a purchase of this very soon. This is one of my favorite go-to loose setting powders. And for that price, you get 30g of product. How sick is that?

At the start of the year - like, literally January 1, 2017- I shopped with Shopee for the very first time. Yikes!  I know there's that uncomfortable feeling when shopping in a particular site for the first time.  So I'm breaking it down and sharing my first Shopee shopping experience, just to take away that cloud of doubt  from your mind.

*Disclaimer: I paid for my own shopping spree at Shopee and I am not in any way being compensated by Shopee for making this review. I'm just purely sharing my experience.*

Let me start off by sharing with you some photos of my cart's content. All beauty stuff, huh?! Well, I am a beauty junkee so I started the year right by picking up some things that will be useful throughout the year.

3W CLINIC PROFESSIONAL NATURAL MAKE-UP POWDER AKA PALGANTONG POWDER
I'm glad that I was able to find my favorite Korean powder at Shopee. It only cost me Php  250.00 for a tub with 30 grams of product and I know it's going to take me a long time to consume all of it. It came quiet cheap huh! Well, I am glad that it looks like, it smells like and it feels as smooth as the last Palgantong Powder I bought so it's authentic.

10 PCS KABUKI BRUSH SET

This 10 piece Kabuki Brush Set came at only Php 265.00. I will be making a separate review about it in the future but let me note that the bristles are really soft and dense and they are not shedding.

SLEEK MAKEUP I-DIVINE EYESHADOW PALETTE IN OH SO SPECIAL
This is a lovely palette, and I think the "Oh So Special" name is appropriate because it really is special. It has a combination of browns, pinks and grays; mattes and shimmers. This will be very useful for all the day looks that I would like to create.

Now, on to the shopping experience itself. To make things easier, I made a list of Pros and Cons about shopping with Shopee, based on my own experience.

Pros
1. The Shopee Website is easy to navigate. You can easily search for products using the search bar. Making an account is easy too.
2. There are so many products to choose from, at any price point.
3. Free Shipping available for purchases amounting to Php 250.00 and above.
4. Different payment methods available. Refer to the photo below. You are also given ample time to settle your payment. About 5 days, I think.
Shopee Payment Methods
Choices for Remittance/Payment Center
Bank Over-the-Counter Options
Online Banking Options
Payments are made to Shopee and not directly to the seller which gives you the assurance that you will get your order or get your money back.

5. Easy monitoring and tracking of orders. Refer to the photo below.

6. You can easily contact the sellers through the Chat platform.
7. You can install the Shopee App on your mobile device so you can easily receive updates about your orders and other offers.

Cons
1. Some seller could be selling fake items and claim it as authentic so be vigilant about reading reviews of items and comments.
2. There are sellers that are actually selling fake items, especially cosmetics, at really low prices, making it more attractive to buyers, but there are so many perils about buying fakes.
3. The Free Shipping is through LBC Integrated Shipping. They only ship after the payment has been confirmed; no rush shipping! Otherwise, you can contact the seller personally if you are in a hurry but of course shipping will be at your own expense.

As of today, those are the only Cons I can think of. In my own experience, I paid on the deadline itself haha! In less than 24 hours, my payment has been confirmed. I think Shopee also about five days to ship the items. The items arrived about 2 days after being shipped out. I live in the province so two days is reasonable; quiet early even.

So far, so good. I enjoyed my shopping experience at Shopee. I found myself coming back to the website more and more!
